A 30+ mile hike praised as one of the best in North America, and named after Art Loeb. The hike provides unobstructed views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and traverses several peaks, including Black Balsam Knob (6,214 ft) and Tennent Mountain (6,040 ft). The southern entry point is located at Davidson River Campground and initially extends west, and then north to completion at Daniel Boone Boy Scout Boy Camp in Haywood County.
