Pisgah Pride Day 2019
Pisgah Pride Day is a broad-based volunteer workday in the Pisgah Ranger District. The first Pisgah Pride Day was held in September 2016, and it was a big success for all who participated – and for Pisgah. We are now signing up volunteers for the fourth annual event, which will be on April 27. The Pisgah Conservancy is sponsoring Pisgah Pride Day, with the support of numerous forest user groups, local businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, and individuals passionate about Pisgah. TPC, the Forest Service, and participating organizations will provide supervision and tools. Volunteers will receive an extremely stylish t-shirt, eco-friendly water bottle, and other miscellaneous goodies for their efforts. We will gather afterwards at Oskar Blues in Brevard for a bit of refreshment, with a percentage of the proceeds going to The Pisgah Conservancy.
